TAW Finalists at The Greater Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards 2022

The Greater Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards 2022 took place this year at Edgbaston Stadium on 11th November.

Nominations came from organisations across Greater Birmingham, highlighting the achievements and hard work of apprentices and employers that have achieved so much over the last year.

The awards are run in partnership with the Ladder for Greater Birmingham campaign, an initiative launched in 2018 aimed at creating hundreds of new apprenticeships in Birmingham and Solihull.

Awards for apprentices were given in a range of sectors such as Engineering & Manufacturing and Professional Services while awards were also up for grabs for Small to Large Employers and Training Provider of the year.

The Apprenticeship works were thrilled to be nominated and selected as a finalist for Small Employer of the Year, due to the work we do as an Apprenticeship Training Agency, hiring apprentices through ourselves to work with a range if employers in various sectors.

One of those employers is MSC Industrial Supply, who were a finalist for Medium Employer of the Year. MSC Industrial Supply has invested significantly in providing quality apprenticeship opportunities to employees over the years. Continually working to help team members develop and grow, 15% of MSC’s workforce has been involved in an apprenticeship - given the support they need to fuel their passion and develop their career.
